Curt began serving as Lead Pastor of EGBC on March 1, 2008. He loves chocolate, his family, and making the principles of God's Word plain - maybe that's not the correct order, but it's close! He has a deep desire to see EGBC make a difference in our community. Curt's prior ministry was Bible teaching and church ministry in the Philippines, and missionary recruitment. He and his wife, Kit, have two daughters, Kailey and Corrin, and reside in Elk Grove Village.

wORSHIP pASTOR
Andre and his wife, Wanessa, are originally from Brazil, and he shares his musical gifts leading worship with the Brazilian Baptist Church of Chicago. Andre loves being part of God's work in bringing people together to offer their hearts and songs of praise to Him. He does so by making the congregation active participants in worship whether speaking Scripture readings he arranges, or singing theologically sound music he selects from a variety of genres, or original compositions. Andre has a degree in Sacred Music from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. He and Wanessa's sons are native Chicagolanders: Nickolas (the elder) was born in Chicago; Anthony (the younger) was born in Elk Grove Village. Like Pastor Curt, Andre loves chocolate!
