Elk Grove Baptist is a debt-free church, so 100 percent of monetary giving is applied to regularly monitored ministry-related expenses. So, all of our tithes and offerings are used to address ministry within the building, associated with our church, and needs of select missionary families and agencies across the globe.


Our General Fund budget is designed to remain in alignment with faithful giving of offerings. While our annual budget is established each April, spending is carefully monitored and adjusted at regular intervals.

biblical giving

EGBC monetary donations are voluntary and in accordance with Biblical guidelines.


TITHES — Consistent General Fund donations of 10 percent of an individual’s income. (Malachi 3:10)


OFFERINGS — Regular General Fund donations of any amount as a person feels led by God.

Tithes and offerings may be given in person during a Service of Worship, scheduled online, or budgeted through online or bank-draft withdrawals. (1 Chronicles 29:14)


BENEVOLENCE FUND — On the first Sunday of each month, in association with celebrating The Lord’s Supper (Communion), a collection is taken to be available to church family members who have occasional financial hardship or emergencies. The Benevolence fund is managed by our Shepherding Ministry Team. Request details. (Acts 2:44-47)


FREEWILL OFFERINGS — Donations are occasionally requested at events such as corporate meals or concerts to help underwrite cost of materials or speaker fees. (Deuteronomy 16:10)
