Curt began serving as lead pastor of EGBC on March 1, 2008. He loves chocolate, his family, and making the principles of God's Word plain - maybe that's not the correct order, but it's close! He has a deep desire to see EGBC make a difference in our community. Curt's prior ministry was Bible teaching and church ministry in the Philippines, and missionary recruitment. He and his wife, Kit, have two daughters, Kailey and Corrin, and reside in Elk Grove Village.

Andre is the Worship Pastor at EGBC. Andre and his wife, Wanessa, are originally from Brazil. Andre has done most of his higher education in the US, where he has earned a degree in Sacred Music from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. It was also in Chicago that his oldest son, Nickolas, was born. Anthony, the youngest of the two, was born in Elk Grove Village in June of 2015. God has given Andre, Wanessa, Nickolas and Anthony an extended, loving family in both Elk Grove Baptist Church and the Brazilian Baptist Church of Chicago. Andre loves to be part of God’s work in bringing people together to offer their hearts and their songs of praise to Him. Like Pastor Curt, Andre loves chocolate!

mike myers
Mike has been a staff member since 2003 managing an assortment of responsibilities. He currently coordinate development of adult ministries (men, women, seniors, young adults), Christ-follower Training (Community Groups, Sunday Bible Studies), and communications media. He also prepares training sessions for ministry team leaders. When not working in EGBC ministries, Mike performs or directs in Chicagoland regional theatre. He is also co-founder of Kingdom Impact Theatre Ministries, and is an ensemble member of the radio drama series, "Unshackled!," as is his wife, Vikki. They reside in Elk Grove Village with their daughter, Camille.

Sue has been a valuable member of EGBC staff for many years. She is responsible for handling the calendar of events, newsletter, weekly bulletins, as well as other administrative duties. Sue and her husband, Jack, are longtime residents of Elk Grove Village and have two adult daughters living in the Chicagoland area.
