Teach the older men to be worthy of respect... older women to be reverent... younger women to be kind...young men to be self- controlled. — Titus 2:2-6

It is not uncommon in many communities, and in many cultures, to see several generations of a family living in the same neighborhood or under the same roof. Family gatherings, especially holidays, are times of passing traditions, discoverng change, sharing stories, celebrating successes, mourning losses, sharing responsibilities, committing mutual accountability; teaching, rebuking, correcting, mentoring from generation to generation.

This is the atmosphere EGBC desires to replicate by developing a family of Christ-followers under our roof. Through specific, age or gender-targeted ministries, we endeavor to strengthen individual youth, men, women and senior adults, thereby collectively strengthening the Kingdom of God. At the same time, those targeted adult ministries exist to develop intergenerational relationships to pass on the traditions and teachings of the past, while adapting them to methods and practices needs of today, preparing to celebrate a God-prepared future.
