Curt Hansen
Lead Pastor
Curt began serving as lead pastor of EGBC on March 1, 2008. He loves chocolate, his family, and making the principles of God's Word plain - maybe that's not the correct order, but it's close! He has a deep desire to see EGBC make a difference in our community. Curt's prior ministry was Bible teaching and church ministry in the Philippines, and missionary recruitment. He and his wife, Kit, have two daughters, Kailey and Corrin, and reside in Elk Grove Village.

Mike Myers
Pastor of Development and Training
Since 2003 Mike has been responsible for overseeing the ministry teams involved in various elements for our worship services -- be they musical, dramatic, technical or liturgical. When not working in EGBC ministries, Mike performs or directs in Chicagoland regional theatre. He is also co-founder of Kingdom Impact Theatre Ministries and the Christian Theatre Network, and is an ensemble member of the radio drama series, "Unshackled!," as is his wife, Vikki. They reside in Elk Grove Village with their daughter, Camille.

Mark Hochfellner
Youth Pastor
Mark is a product of EGBC, having grown up here and participating in the youth ministries. A senior in youth ministries at Moody Bible Institute, Mark's training includes serving on staff at Living Rock Church in Gillette,WY, with former EGBC youth pastor Jeremiah Clapper, now senior pastor of Living Rock. Mark's spiritual gifts of teaching, preaching and encouragement serve him well teaching high school students on Sunday mornings and developing the mid-week Transition junior high ministry. Not confined to working with students, Mark is an integral part of overall EGBC ministry and planning. He frequently delivers insight from the pulpit on Sunday mornings, and facilitates conversations among the college community. He is single and all right with that for the moment.

Sue Kitten
Administrative Assistant
Sue has been a valuable member of EGBC staff for many years. She is responsible for handling the calendar of events, newsletter, weekly bulletins, as well as other administrative duties. Sue and her husband, Jack, are longtime residents of Elk Grove Village and have two adult daughters living in the Chicagoland area.
